Project-Engineering


a-Determination of  requirement programme;

Structure configuration to be constructed is determined by our project team according to architectural features and requirement programme requested by the employer. Within this scope, building surveys of the required parts of the present structure is taken in case mentioned structure is continuation of a present structure or includes its revision.

 

b-Performing static calculations and preparation of the preliminary project;

Acoording to the determined configuration, static calculations are performed in accordance with current local and international specifications and regulations as 3D on computer and thus the carrier system of the structure is determined in the lightest and cheapest way and then it is submitted to the consideration of the administration.

 

c-Application and preparation of the project ;

Preliminary project coordinated with the administration is detailed as 3D on drawing programmes and it is submitted for the manufacturing as factory drawings. Our firm adopted as principle to perform the manufacture at the factory by controlling all the resources and to dispatch them to assembly worksite in a way that its points of contact are prepared and its dyeing is completed and to make all contacts and manufacturing complying with modern steel construction philosophy without making any interventions using welding at the worksite.

 

d- Anchoring system

The manufacturing of anchoring elements as a part of the project is performed as kits and they are dispatched to assembly site. Embedded anchorings is placed in a durable way within the control of the geomatic engineer in its axis and elevation in a suitable way to its place. Here the point to consider is to assembly anchoring system in a very durable and fixed way before the pouring of concrete.  

e- Manufacturing stage

Material which was ordered after determining material sections and its total quantity at the project stage is supplied. Material certificates of the supplied materials are received and the materials are dispatched to sanding right after that. Shopprimer having a thickness of 15-20 micron is added to the sanded material. Shopprimer prevents the corrosion of the sanded surface again.

After the material is received from sanding stage, it is subjected to these stages respectively;

•    Dimensional cut
•    Puncturing processes
•   Preliminary assembly manufacturing  processes
•    Welding Works
•    Cleaning stage
•    Dyeing process
•    Packing and stocking stage
•    In the manufacturing stage, if it is considered necessary by the administration, one or two samples are taken from the materials and their shear and tension tests are conducted.

Materials whose welding stages are completed are subjected to (if it is considered necessary by the administration)
•    Penetration test,
•    Mechanical welding test,
•    An x-ray of the welding is taken.
•    Dye thickness of the materials whose dyeing is completed are measured by a JOTUN authority and it is certified.
All these conducted tests are submitted to the employer by preparing a quality control file in the delivery. In case it is requested tests can be submitted partially in every material dispatch. While dispatching to site it is considered to dispatch material which does not hinder axis assembly.  

The stages in the assembly process are respectively;
•    Placing of anchoring system,
•    Column placement,
•    Main truss placement,
•    Side truss placement,
•    Completing the system by screwing its bolts in the desired value,
•    Performing dye retouch,
•    Executing provisional delivery,
 
PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN  IN THE ASSEMBLY SITE
1. By employing site chief (civ. eng.), work safety responsible, supervisor or foreman, it is enabled the job to be performed of high quality and to be assembled safely.
2.  Safety rail or security tape must be placed around the assembly site before the start of the assembly, and also caution signs must be hanged.

•    Crane set-up site
•    Preparation of assembly site

•    Electricity (The proximity of electricity panel to the assembly site must be 20m)
